گرده برای درمان ناتوانایی جنسی:
در ادبیات عوام گرده به عنوان منبع غمنی از ویتامین ها و اسید های آمینه مشهور بوده که در بدن انسان تاثیر شگفت انگیری به خصوص برروی تجدید قدرت جوانی و افزایش نیروی جنسی در مردها دارد. اعراب در زمان های قدیم برای درمان ناتوانی های جنسی از گرده خرما استفاده می کرده اند امروزه کشف هورمون های (کنادوتروپیک) در گرده خرما و استفاده از آن در درمان عقیمی توسط اعراب بدوی تایید می شود همچنین وجود هورمون های تحریک کننده جنسی در گرده ثابت شده است.
