مشخصات

این درخت در مناطق سردسیر کوهستانی لطیف و شاداب باقی می ماند.گل ها سفید و دسته ای، میوه انواع پرورشی آن درشت مخروطی شکل ، گوشت دار، شیرین و ترش و آبدار، در داخل میوه دانه ها قرار دارد.دانه ها شبیه به و سیب بوده ولی لعاب ندارد..

اطلاعات زنبور داری

زمان شکوفایی گل های گلابی زود تر از سیب بوده گل دهی یک هفته طول میکشد. زمان باز ماندن گل کوتاه بوده و زنبورها را چندان به خود جلب نمی کند زیرا درصد قند گلابی پایین بوده و بین 4 تا 25 درصد است، اگر در همان زمان گل های دیگر باز باشند.زنبورها ترجیح می دهند به سراغ گل هایی بروند که میزان قند شهد بالاتری دارند.
